Container Pricing
The prices fluctuate; influenced by the cost of steel, petrol and labour, all fees, including delivery, are subject to change. If your recent quote has expired, please feel free to ask for another one; we're here to help.

To guarantee safety and compatibility, we strictly adhere to standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). We do not supply scrap units; every container in our Oswestry fleet meets specific criteria:
We deliver using Hiab vehicles trucks equipped with a hydraulic crane to offload the container. Oswestry’s mix of modern business parks and rural country lanes requires careful logistical planning. We operate in line with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines to ensure a safe delivery.
You must provide "hard-standing" ground. A loaded Hiab vehicle can weigh over 30 tonnes. We strictly cannot lift onto grass, soft soil, or mud, as the vehicle's stabiliser legs may sink, causing the truck to destabilise. Concrete, tarmac, or compacted hardcore surfaces are essential.
The crane arm lifts upwards and outwards. In accordance with HSE guidance on avoiding danger from overhead power lines, our drivers typically require a safety clearance of at least 20 metres from live cables. In rural Shropshire, you must also check for overhanging tree branches that could obstruct the lift.
Shipping containers are generally classified as temporary structures. However, regulations can vary within the Shropshire Council jurisdiction.
We strongly recommend consulting the Shropshire Council planning department via their online portal before ordering to ensure compliance.
Deciding between hiring and buying depends on your project duration:
Prices fluctuate based on global steel rates and container availability. A used 20ft shipping container is generally the most cost-effective option. Delivery is calculated from our Midlands depot to your specific postcode (SY10/SY11). Please use our Quote form for a precise, real-time figure.
For used containers, we can email photos of the specific units available for dispatch to Oswestry upon request. This allows you to check the condition and paint colour (typically green or blue) before confirming your order.
We typically deliver within 3 to 5 working days. If you require a specific Hiab vehicle type (e.g., a rigid truck for restricted access near the Welsh border), please let us know immediately so we can schedule the correct transport logistics.
